Welcome to the 49th annual Lakefront Festival of Arts presented by Quad/Graphics and Milwaukee Magazine. We are excited to showcase the talents of over 170 artists during the festival this year, including a special delegation of 5 artists who have traveled from China to share their unique designs. We would especially like to thank this year’s poster artist, Seung Lee, who created the incredible Watertown, through printmaking and his fabulous use of color. It is truly a special work of art.

Lakefront Festival of Arts has become one of the pre-eminent fine arts festivals in the United States thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, hard work of our committees, and the ongoing dedication of hundreds of volunteers. It is the passion of these supporters that has enabled the festival to continue attracting exceptional artists, as well as enhancing the festival experience for all who attend.

In planning this year’s festival, we strove to create an event that provides a variety of activities; there is really something for everyone! In addition to the world-class artwork, we have great entertainment, lively children’s activities, and an expanded Milwaukee Magazine Wine Garden where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. Be sure to visit the artists displaying inside Windhover Hall and to view the five exceptional China exhibitions in the Museum, including The Emperor’s Private Paradise: Treasures from the Forbidden City.
