Silent Art Auction

Be sure to take time to bid on your favorite art objects and help Friends of Art (FOA) raise funds to support the Milwaukee Art Museum! This year’s silent auction features numerous works of art generously donated by many of the talented artists exhibiting in the 2011 LFOA. Bidding is open to the public online, and this is a great way to view the majority of the visual artists all in one place! Take a stroll through the picturesque Sculpture Garden to envision how these unique landscape-sized sculptures could look in your own backyard! Located near the festival’s south entrance, this year’s garden will feature a variety of diverse work in a natural backdrop. Specific works are provided by LFOA artists and range from delicate to dramatic.
Fiber Art Fashion Show
A taste of Fashion Week comes to the LFOA Main Stage Friday (3 p.m.) and Saturday (1:30 p.m.) afternoons! Hosted by Milwaukee Magazine Shopaholic Columnist, Colleen Heather Rogan, with some models provided by Ford, the stunning fashion spectacular will feature unique fiber art fashions and one-of-a-kind garments, coats, scarves, and other imaginative fiber wearables for day and evening created by LFOA artists. All items in the Fiber Art Fashion Show will be available for sale following the event. Visit participating artists’ booths following the show for your chance to make these creations your own!
